Art Therapy

IMG_7330.jpg

I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Vermont (LCMHC) and a Licensed Creative Art Therapist (LCAT) in New York State.

I work with adults who are experiencing struggles such as high stress, difficulties in family, work, and social circles, grief, anxiety, sadness, and want support to heal through the creative process.

What We Do Together

I will support you in working toward your goals. Each session will be tailored to you as I work with you to make changes and learn about yourself.

We typically will meet one or two times weekly for 55-minute sessions in my warm, sunny studio in Downtown Burlington. Each session, we will focus on your goals through art-making and talking. I provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment so that you feel comfortable expressing your feelings and experiences related to difficulties in your life.

Is this covered by insurance?

Yes! I accept VT Medicaid and BlueCross BlueShield. If you have specific questions about insurance coverage, I recommend calling your insurance company directly. I am also able to answer questions to the best of my knowledge in the phone consultation.

Let’s Get Started

Are you interested in working with me? Here’s how to get started.

Step 1. Contact me to schedule a complimentary phone consultation. We will chat for 15 minutes so that you can ask me any question and we can see if we are a good fit. We can also discuss insurance at this time.

Step 2. If we decide to work together, we will schedule a regular time to meet at my office in Downtown Burlington. If you decide not to work with me or if we aren’t a good therapeutic fit, I’m happy to help connect you to other clinicians in the area.
